textBOX is a collection of some of the best short fiction, essays and poetry selected from the archives of The Missouri Review, one of the nation’s leading literary magazines since 1978. The anthology is designed to provide access to students and teachers of creative writing and contemporary literature to a selection of some of the best short fiction, nonfiction and poetry that has been published in The Missouri Review over the past quarter decade.

Each piece provided on the anthology includes an introduction, reading questions and writing prompts. As this ongoing project continues to develop, we hope to add additional supplementary materials including author interviews, audio files and more.
