Carrie, Bo, and All Our American Idols
Around here, we like to think of Michael P. Kardos as Our American Idol. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to see him on the drums at your local piano bar, you’ll understand what I mean. If you haven’t, well, you’ll have to settle for his sharp, witty commentary on the most recently completed edition of “American Idol.” Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice, Jefferson Starship, and the world of literary journals–they all have a place in “Kenny G, We Don’t Need Your Floaty Riffs,” the latest literary single from Mr. Kardos.
