Interview: Rachel Yoder
Today on the TMR Podcast, and with only a little over a week remaining until the deadline for our 2013 Editors’ Prize contest, we were excited for the chance to catch up with another of our past Editors’ Prize winners, Rachel Yoder. Our Technology Editor, Meagan Cielsa, spoke with Rachel, whose powerful The blood was the mountain and the mountain was the bear was our 2012 Editors’ Prize winner in fiction.
Rachel Yoder edits draft: the journal of process, which features stories, drafts and interviews with authors about the creative process. She earned and MFA in fiction from the University of Arizona and an MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of Iowa, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow. Her work has been shortlisted in Best American Short Stories and Best American Nonrequired Reading and is forthcoming in YOU: An Anthology of Essays Devoted to the Second Person (Welcome Table Press).
