This week’s episode of The Missouri Review Soundbooth features a live recording of Karen Russell reading excerpts from her novella, Sleep Donation, and her short story, “Reeling for the Empire”. Russell is the author of two short story collections, St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves and Vampires in the Lemon Grove. Her novel, Swamplandia! was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
