Poet Amy Newman’s third collection, Fall, which includes selections that appeared in The Missouri Review 26:3 (2003), will be out from Wesleyan UP at the end of September. Newman, a faculty member in the English department at Northern Illinois University, is also the author of Order, or Disorder (1995), which received the Cleveland State University Poetry Center Prize, and Camera Lyrica (1999), which received the Beatrice Hawley Award.
Quan Barry’s new collection of poems, Controvertibles, will be released by the University of Pittsburgh Press later this month as well. Her debut collection, Asylum, was published in 2001, also by the University of Pittsburgh Press. Her poems appeared in The Missouri Review 23:2 (2000).
