As the submission deadline (October 15!) for our annual Editors’ Prize contest draws near (October 15!), we look back just three short years to the winners of the 2001 Editors’ Prize contest:

Fiction: “Rationing,” by Mary Yukari Waters
Poetry: “And What if I Spoke of Despair,” “Be Still My Heart,” “Gate C 22,” and “3 A.M. Feeding,” by Ellen Bass
Essay: “Little People,” by Jonathan Pitts

These winning entries all appeared in TMR 25:1 (2002).
