Anna Meek has had poems in Crazyhorse, The Massachusetts Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, The Crab Orchard Review, The Cream City Review, and others. Her manuscript, Acts of Contortion, was selected as a finalist for the 1999 National Poetry Series and for the 2001 Brittingham and Felix Pollak Prizes. Her other manuscript, The Genome Rhapsodies, is a finalist for the 2001 Yale Series of Younger Poets. Meek is a professional violinist and violin teacher in Minneapolis.
