Bill Roorbach’s latest novels, both from Algonquin, are Life Among Giants, which is in development for a multi-year series at HBO, and The Remedy for Love, which is a finalist for the 2014 Kirkus Prize. Temple Stream, a memoir in nature, has just been reissued by Down East Books. Big Bend: Stories, a Flannery O’Connor Prize winner, has just been reissued by University of Georgia Press. “Princesa” is an homage to Elizabeth Bowen; it is Bill’s third piece in TMR and will appear in his collection The Girl of the Lake, forthcoming in 2016. He lives in western Maine.
