David Lawrence Morse grew up in south Georgia and has since lived in North Carolina; Washington, D.C.; and Iwakuni, Japan. He completed an MFA in fiction at the University of Michigan, where he now teaches writing and literature. He is currently working on a novel about a rice farmer in coastal Georgia as well as a collection of stories. His work has appeared in One Story and the O. Henry Prize Stories 2006. [2007]
