Jason Anthony’s Antarctic writings have been published recently in the Seneca Review and are forthcoming from Isotope and two literary anthologies: one from Impassio Press titled In Pieces: An Anthology of Fragmentary Writing; the other edited by Susan Fox Rogers, titled Antarctic Passages.

The Song of Hypothermia
There’s no such thing as being out of the wind in the Antarctic. We inhabit a barren continent buried under mile-deep ice and shaped by the cold gales of millenia. Katabatic winds plunge down to the frozen coast like an endless train falling off its tracks.
