Michael McGriff is the author of the poetry collections Choke and Dismantling the Hills. The latter is forthcoming from the University of Pittsburgh Press. He is also the translator of Tomas Tranströmer’s The Sorrow Gondola, which is forthcoming from Green Integer Books. His work has appeared in Agni, Field, Crazyhorse, Slate, Poetry, Northwest Review, and elsewhere. He is currently a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.
