Siamak Vossoughi

Siamak Vossoughi was born in Tehran and grew up in Seattle. He moved to San Francisco after college at the University of Washington, in no small part because of the short stories of William Saroyan. He has had some stories appear in Faultline, Fourteen Hills, Prick of the Spindle and Washington Square. He is a recipient of the 2013 Very Short Fiction Award from Glimmer Train and a 2014 Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction. His collection, Better than War, will be published in 2015.
