Tim Parrish

Tim Parrish is author of Red Stick Men (University Press of Mississippi), a collection of stories set in and around his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His most recent work appears or is forthcoming in the anthology French Quarter Fiction, Sou’Wester, and War, Literature and the Arts. He is the recipient of a 2002 Gerald A. Freund Grant-in-Aid from the Whiting Foundation and was nominated for Best New American Voices 2002 by Tim O’Brien. He directs the Creative Writing Program and teaches at Southern Connecticut State University. [2003]
