Pulitzer Prizes Announced
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of noting that the wonderful writer Edward P. Jones won the National Book Critics Circle Award for his novel The Known World. I’m happy to announce further success for this wonderful writer. On Monday Mr. Jones won the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction for his novel. Here is a link to a page of the New York Times that includes a review of the novel and a profile of Mr. Jones.
Franz Wright won the Pulitzer in Poetry for his book, Walking to Martha’s Vineyard, and Anne Applebaum won the non-fiction award for her book, Gulag: A History. A complete list of winners can be found on the official Pulitzer Prize Website.
