The iPod Shuffle
In her blog entry for Friday, April 1, live from Day 2 of the Associated Writers & Writing Programs’ (AWP) annual conference in Vancouver, Aimee Nez praised the Missouri Review for “having the coolest giveaway stuff so far: these royal blue see-through rocket pens.” Little could Aimee have known at the time that she would win the most-talked about promotional giveaway of the entire conference–an iPod Shuffle, courtesy of the Missouri Review. Aimee’s name was drawn from the nearly 500 entries that were stuffed into our little plastic box over three days at the bookfair.
So congratulations to Aimee! And thanks to everyone who stopped by our table and chatted with our staff. It was great to see old friends and to make new ones. We’ll look forward to seeing everyone next year in Austin!
