True/False Film Festival Podcast: An Interview with ‘Westwood’ Filmmakers
On this episode of The Missouri Review Soundbooth Podcast, we sit down with Director Lorna Tucker and Producer Eleanor Emptage of the documentary Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist, which premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. The film follows British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, and through a collection of attention-grabbing archival footage and a mix of hilarious and informative interviews, paints a picture of a woman who decades ago helped create the punk movement in the U.K. and today is throwing herself into environmental activism — all while growing an innovative, provocative, and iconic fashion brand known around the world.
Interview conducted by TMR Audio Team interns Kelsey Hurwitz and Brooke Dulany.
